How was Zedekiah king of Judah being evil?
(2 Chronicles 36:11-14, Jeremiah 52:1-3, 2 Kings 24:18-20)
1.) He refused to turn to the Lord.
2.) He was a hard and stubborn man.
3.) He led priests and people into pagan practices.
4.) He desecrated the Temple of the Lord.
5.) He refused to humble himself.
6.) He rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar.
7.) He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

What resulted?
- The Lord’s anger burned against the people of Jerusalem and Judah.
- The Lord banished the people from His presence.
- The Lord sent them into exile, into Babylonian captivity.
Lord, help us humble ourselves, turn to You, repent from sin, and honor the two greatest commandments of loving You and loving one another. In Jesus name, Amen.
